2010 National Magazine Award Finalists Announced
Wednesday, March 10, 2010

The New Yorker and New York magazine, which are to National Magazine Award nominations what Meryl Streep is to Oscar nominations, are each up for ten 2010 Ellies among the 115 finalists in 23 categories announced March 10 by the American Association of Magazine Editors.  However, New York stands out in getting one of the five nods for Magazine of the Year, which combines both print and digital excellence

Winners will be announced at an April 22 reception in New York's Alice Tully Hall.  Finalists listed below are for the print categories; digital finalists other than Magazine of the Year were announced March 3 and will be presented March 18 at a luncheon at the New York Sheraton.  For further details, go to the MPA's site.
