Mary Murcko Is Gannett President of SalesMonday, March 5, 2012 Mary Murcko, whose 2004-2011 career at Rodale Inc. culminated as executive VP/group publisher at the Men's Health-/Prevention-flagshipped company, joined Gannett Co. on Feb. 27 as president of sales. Murcko is responsible for  "national advertising revenue across Gannett's publishing and digital businesses." Included is USA Today.Earlier at Rodale, Murcko was publisher of Best Life, Prevention, and Women's Health, where she was among min's Sales Team Leaders of the Year in 2008. A notable propr credit was Murcko helping to launch Elle and Elle Decor in Thailand in her capacity as group publisher and general manager at Hachette Filipacchi's Bangkok-based division.
