Chris McLoughlin Named Men's Journal PublisherWednesday, February 29, 2012 This morning, Wenner Media founder (1967) Jann Wenner announced the hire of Chris McLoughlin to fill the Men's Journal publisher vacancy created by Michael Wolfe's Jan. 18 resignation to become The Week publisher. McLoughlin ends a three-year stint as Redbook/Redbookmag.com associate publisher under VP/publisher (since July 2003) Mary Morgan. A highlight was Redbookmag.com''s +650% ad-revenue performance in 2010. He is also a past publisher at Golf for Women (folded in July 2008), associate publisher of Condé Nast Traveler and Golf Digest, and New York advertising director at Sports Illustrated. McLoughlin is the youngest of the late Dick McLoughlin's (1929-2010) five children and the only one to follow his footsteps. Dick McLoughlin was a longtime Reader's Digest Association executive who, as president, helped engineer the company's initial public offering in February 1990.
