Bellows Named NG Kids Chief Creative Officer
Tuesday, August 17, 2010
Melina Gerosa Bellows, National Geographic Kids editor-in-chief since 2000 and National Geographic Global Media (NGGM) executive VP of children's publishing, was given the expanded role of NG Kids and Family chief creative officer on Aug. 17. Gerosa Bellows will work collaboratively across all NGGM units engaged in developing and producing kids- and family-oriented products. They include games, entertainment and digital media.
Job is endemic to Gerosa Bellows, who is the mother of two young children. Her other credits include creating the Nat Geo Amazing! book and 10-part TV series now airing on the National Geographic Channel.
In April, NG Kids was cited as a "Most Engaged Brand" at min's 2010 Best of the Web awards.
