Hartman Named Fortune/CNNMoney Group Publisher

Jed Hartman, who as The Week publisher (since November 2007) produced a +10% ad-page differential in 2009, returns to his Time Inc. roots in the new capacity of group publisher of Fortune and cnnmoney.com.  Latter does not include Money.

Announcement was made late Friday afternoon (March 19) by Fortune/Sports Illustrated/Time president/group publisher Mark Ford. Pre-The Week, Hartman was Fortune Money Group New York sales director, which culminated a nine-year stint at Time Inc.

Hartman's top two lieutenants at his new job are Fortune publisher Hugh Wiley and cnnmoney.com senior VP Liberty Carras.
