Penton Emerges from Bankruptcy

As expected and foreshadowed in a preliminary announcement last week, Penton Media officially left Chapt. 11 bankruptcy status today. The U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York confirmed the pre-packaged plan that eliminates $270 million in debt for the b2b publishers, and today they proceedings became effective.
