Rolling Stone to Open Nightspot in L.A.

The name of Rolling Stone's new venue—to be opened this summer in Los Angeles' Hollywood and Highland Center—is still to come as the 42-year-old brand hits the nightclub/party scene. Partnering with RS founder/editor-in-chief Jann Wenner are Lucky Rug Group principals Niall Donnelly and Joe Altounian. Their speciality is to "create lucrative business opportunities in unforeseen sectors," or, in this case, with an unforeseen partner. The RS venue is among many restaurant/nightlife/bar properties that Lucky Rug is developing in metro-L.A. and elsewhere.

As for a name, how about Jann's Magical Mystery Tour?
