Steve -- good piece as far as you went -- but everyone keeps dancing AROUND the issue -- Saying "we learned a lot about how to inspire readers to post and enter the conversation" but no one says concisely how to do that -- what specific content, treated in what way, gets women to post and connect and talk online? Simply pointing to good content(or sexy and provocative, to judge by Shine's home page today) is not instructive enough.
Thanks for any specific thoughts you might have.

Shine may be popular and it may employ "professional" writers and editors, but its original content is some of the worst written on the Web. Every day it produces blog entries that are inaccurate, laden with grammatical and spelling errors. Shine writers seem to aim at the lowest common denominator of its often illiterate readers. For real examples see http://terriblywrite.wordpress.com
