Daniel AmbroseSteve Greenberger
President and CMO
SLG Advertising

Steve Greenberger is currently President and Chief Marketing Officer of SLG Advertising in New York where he directs all of the company's business development, media, marketing and support services to build effective, actionable and relevant strategies for major U.S. clients.

This position caps over 25 years of industry experience on both the agency and the media vendor side. On the agency side of the business, Steve has held the title of EVP, Director of Convergence and Print Media at Initiative Media, SVP, Director of Print Media at Grey (Mediacom), SVP Director of Print Services at Zenithmedia and, SVP Deputy Media Director of Planning and Research at Campbell-Mithun-Esty. On the media vendor side of the business, he was Director of Marketing and Research for New York Magazine and Times Mirror Magazines as well as Associate Publisher of Rolling Stone Magazine. In both of these capacities, he has been heavily involved in the preparation of targeted strategies and the development of effective and efficient marketing and cross-media packages.

As Marketing Director for the IMS Computer Company, Steve was instrumental in the development of both the heavily used StoryFinder and Adcume media evaluation systems.

Steve has also held the positions of Chairman of the 4A's Magazine Committee and ABC Advisory Committee. He has been hailed as one of the top 25 Industry spokespersons in the U.S., often referred to in the trades and broadcast news in addition to lecturing at many of the ad industry's major functions. Steve has been recognized as one of the top 100 most influential people to know in the advertising business today by Media Magazine and one of the top 16 most influential, by Media Industry Newsletter.
