 Kourosh Karimkhany
Executive Director, Corporate Development, CondeNet
Kourosh Karimkhany heads the corporate development activities of CondeNet. He oversees the company's acquisition, investment and strategic partnerships. In his role, he has executed the acquisitions of Wired Digital, Reddit and NutritionData.com. And he served as general manager of Wired Digital during its integration into the Conde Nast fold. He joined CondeNet in February 2006. Prior to that, he was an independent consultant advising new media companies on editorial and business strategy. He also spent four years at Yahoo!, where he served as senior producer of Yahoo! News & Weather and as a product manager at Yahoo! Games, where he helped create the company's video game properties. He began his career as a reporter and editor, covering the software and internet industries for Bloomberg News, Reuters and WIRED News. Kourosh earned a B.A. degree in economics from the University of California, Irvine, and an M.S. degree in journalism from Columbia University. He lives and works in San Francisco.
