Kim Cheney is the executive managing editor of Redbook and Woman’s Day, where she oversees staffing, workflow, editorial budgets, issue lineups, sponsorship opportunities, special units and more.
Cheney first joined Redbook in 1999 as managing editor. She then moved to Marie Claire in 2001 where she held the same title for three years. She returned to Redbook in 2004, and has been with the brand ever since.
Cheney has been with Hearst Magazines for more than 15 years; having started her career at Popular Mechanics.
