Judy Glassman Promoted to ‘Smithsonian’ Associate Publisher/Marketing

On April 24, Smithsonian Media VP/advertising sales and marketing (since July 2012) Steve Giannetti elevated marketing director (since 2011) Judy Glassman to associate publisher/marketing. She is now responsible for developing multi-platform marketing programs for the Smithsonian flagship along with Air & Space Smithsonian, goSmithsonian, Smithsonian Channel and Smithsonian.com.

Glassman is past marketing executive at six Condé Nast magazines: Allure, Gentlemen’s Quarterly, Glamour, Lucky, Modern Bride and Self. She is also an alumna of Premiere (Hachette Filipacchi Media U.S.).

Says Giannetti: "Judy [continues to show] the kind of vision that exemplifies the goals and objectives at Smithsonian Media. Her talent…played a significant role in supporting the multi-platform efforts from our ‘American Ingenuity Awards‘ signature event [as well as] expanding our offerings within our 17 museums."
