Jane Wladar Named "Country Living" Publisher/Chief Revenue Officer

On March 19, Jane Wladar was named publisher and chief revenue officer of Country Living. In filling the vacancy created by Kassie Means’ switch to Woman’s Day publisher/CRO on Feb. 19, Wladar ended 13 years at Popular Mechanics. As associate publisher since 2003, her purview extended to the former Hachette Filipacchi Media magazines Car and Driver and Road  & Track following their May 2011 acquisition by Hearst Magazines.

Wladar and Means both report to Pat Haegele in the Good Housekeeping publisher’s expanded role as Hearst Magazines Women’s Lifestyle Group senior VP/publishing director/CRO.

Per min‘s boxscores, Country Living‘s January-April 2013 ad pages are -18.32% versus the same four months in 2012. Popular Mechanics‘ are -7.01%.
