Veronis Suhler Stevenson Closes $1.142 Billion Advanstar Deal  Today, Veronis Suhler Stevenson (parent to the min brand) completed its acquisition of Advanstar, the media company most famous for its MAGIC Marketplace show and Motor Age. Advanstar also publishes numerous other magazines and Web sites in the fashion, power sports, and life sciences fields.A new capital structure will be put in place by the new company, with the debt portion of the transaction committed by Credit Suisse and Barclays Capital.
