M&A Action in B2B: Summit Business Media Buys Wicks and Ascend/Stagnito Speculation  Announced today, Summit Business Media has signed an agreement to acquire Wicks Business Information, publishers of Investment Advisor, Credit Union Times, Inside Counsel and Treasury & Risk magazines, as well as other properties and programs. The portfolio fits well with Summit’s current cornucopia of financial market offerings. So well, in fact, that Summit is filing for Hart-Scott-Rodino antitrust approval.
