Much of the new information offered in a recent Wall Street Journal article about the Murdoch/Dow Jones affair can be summed up in this excerpt: “The negotiations yesterday began with a lunch meeting attended by Messrs. Murdoch and Zannino.”
When the dust settles, this will have been the most talked-about deal of the year—and it’s a lock now even though it hasn’t even happened yet, even if it never happens.
