Announced today, Ziff Davis has sold its enterprise division, which includes Baseline, CIO Insight and eWeek, to Insight Venture Partners for about $150 million in cash. If certain performance conditions are met, then Willis Stein, Ziff’s private equity owner, will receive an extra $10 million in the sale, bumping up the sale price to about $160 million.

Earlier this week, The Minsider scooped the story with three posts about the buyer and the timing.

This transaction is expected to close in the third quarter.
