The Atlantic's 'State of the Union' Play--and WorkOn Tuesday (Jan. 24), The Atlantic and sister publication National Journal (both are owned by David Bradley) hosted a reception for members of Congress and guests at the Library of Congress before they went across Pennsylvania It was back to business the next morning (Jan. 25), when the two magazines held a "State of the Union debriefing" with House and Senate members in the Capitol. Pictured (left, with the microphone) is the dean of the House of Representatives, John Dingell (D.-Mich.), who has served since 1955, with National Journal congressional correspondent Major Garrett and The Atlantic editor-in-chief James Bennet.
