Prevention Toasts Hollywood's 'Most Philanthropic Women'

On June 15 at the Montage Beverly Hills, Prevention senior VP/publisher (since February 2009) Mary Murcko had the pleasure of toasting four of Hollywood's Most Philanthropic Women. Murcko is on the far right; clicking their glasses with her, from left to right, are Twilight screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg, actresses Joely Fisher and Marcia Gay Harden, and Entertainment Industry Foundation president/CEO Lisa Paulsen.   (Event was called Prevention's "Spotlight on Hollywood Heroes.")

Rosenberg was recognized for her work on behalf of the The Writers Guild Foundation; Fisher, Save the Children; Harden, Help USA; and Paulsen, Stand Up 2 Cancer.

They were the inaugural honorees for what Murcko hopes will become an annual tradition. Event co-sponsors were Asics and Colgate. (Photograph by Todd Williamson/WireImage.com.)
