Budget Travel Commemorates 100th Issue

Arthur Frommer’s Budget Travel celebrated its 100th issue on March 10 in New York City by welcoming select subscribers to the event as a reward for their dedication. The event was held at "Top of the Week" on the third floor of the building where Newsweek, Slate and The Washington Post are housed.

The loyal readers were rewarded with hors d'oeuvres, an open bar and quality time with the editors of the magazine. Budget Travel also highlighted the March issue, providing readers with tips on how to make their dream trips possible in the current economy. To help further this cause, Budget Travel is publishing the companion volume to The Smart Traveler’s Passport, entitled The Smart Family’s Passport. The handbook offers helpful hints from Budget Travel readers worldwide for families on the go.
