Avon Wins a 'Do Good' Award from LHJ

For a year, Ladies' Home Journal, through editor-in-chief Sally Lee and VP/publisher Julie Pinkwater, has included Do Good stamps in the magazine to recognize companies for their philanthropic efforts. The 17th honoree is Avon for its Hello Green Tomorrow program that has replenished the Atlantic Rainforest in South America (Brazil, Paraguay, Argentina) with 2 million trees.

The Do Good Stamp is actually an insignia that recognizes brands that are committed to philanthropic endeavors. The stamp is valid for two years and can be used by companies in their brand packaging and marketing and promotional materials to raise awareness of their philanthropic efforts.
