Conde Nast Media Group Gets Down With 'Nature'
Cradled by bamboo chairs, we let celebrated filmmaker Neil Rettig walk us through his eagle footage and it was clear that he was still smitten with his subject matter, which made his account of the filming process a joy to share. The special guest of the evening was Grethen Mol, who most recently appeared in the film 3:10 to Yuma. The amazing band featured in the film, One eskimO, filled the garden with soothing melodies as we reflected on the joyful images filmed of that great icon of our freedom on the cusp of Independence Day (the American bald eagle). We¹ve said it before: Condé Nast throws the best parties, but's truly amazing what they can do on a Monday with a couple of sea lions and some Veuve! ![]() Neil Retting, filmmaker of “American Eagle”; Fred Kaufman, Executive Producer of Nature; Neal Shapiro, President, Thirteen/WNET New York ; Gretchen Moll; Shigeru Hayakawa, President & Chief Operating Officer, Toyota Motor North America; Dian D.
