Everyday Health Party Stays Fit

We just love the Gramercy Hotel rooftop bar on a bright sunny evening. And we love it even more when we can be spending it celebrating with friends of the cool publication Everyday Health. The digital mag and information resource was celebrating…well, I think not only surviving but thriving in the often tumultuous digital space. Ben Wolin, the Co-founder and CEO of Waterfront Media which owns Everyday Health, was pretty excited to tell us about the brand new partnership with MarketPlace, a healthcare product search and comparison shopping source. This makes Everyday Health a shopping destination for the first time ever. We were surprised to hear that Everyday Health is the number two most visited health site, pretty awesome for only being twelve months old.

Its hard to stay cool when a rooftop gets that crowded (the line for the elevator spilled out onto the sidewalk!) or when its so loud that we couldn’t even hear if our name was being called in the raffle for an iphone, but we did our best to focus on the awesome smoked asparagus, Californian wine and overall physical fitness of the crowd (including Jillian Michaels from NBC's The Biggest Loser). And it’s amazing how a mood can rise as the sun falls and the prospect of finally going home gets nearer and nearer…especially when a glance at the ol' cell reminds you that you've been at the party for almost three hours...
