Jason Binn does it big when he does it at all, which is often and big of him—doing it, that is. Hundreds of Hamptons residents, celebs, and friends of the magazine frolicked on glorious Dune Beach in Southampton on Sunday the 22nd for Hamptons Magazine’s annual clambake. The shimmering sun setting deep, deep in the west created a big-sky effect—pinks and blues exploded over the lobster tail, burger and dog-stuffed crowd.

At least, this is what we imagined it was like. The min team was late. We assume that the partygoers, though, were privy to the glorious brushstrokes of what we now can only believe to be the work of a benevolent god.

Ditto on the food. The lobster tails, with their rich texture and pungent aroma, are proof of what I am now convinced of is a benevolent god. And same on the burgers, cooked fresh on a charcoal grill, embers flying up into the bottomless beach night—benevolent god. And the drinks—blah blah, benevolent god.
