Say that ten times fast.

“Got What it Takes?” is what Bill Boggs, ex-New York City TV Persona and current feature columnist, stage star, and speaker, asks you with his new book: Got What it Takes?

In the book, 44 stars, many of them in creative fields, tell Bill the recipe to their secret sauces--success sauces. And, on May 17, at a relaxing paced non-power lunch and cocktail party at Le Cirque (58th, between Lexington and Third Ave.), Bill Boggs and his wife Carol, publisher of Hallmark Magazine, treated about 30 select guests to lunch and a riveting lecture cum motivational speech by Bill.

Boggs clearly still has what it takes, eliciting laughs, gasps and guffaws with ease.

So, in a nutshell, how do you succeed?

Well, the “experts” disagreed, but Boggs distilled some common points:

- Hard work
- Crush self-doubt
- Sacrifice is required

Of course, those that achieved in the book would probably call this an oversimplification. The min team, low as we are, will not argue.
