Looking Back at a 'Game-Changing' Campaign
When not dishing up the salacious but multiple-sourced (according to them) tidbits on the ultimately unsuccessful campaigns run by Hillary Clinton, John McCain and disgraced former vice presidential candidate John Edwards, Halperin and Heilemann held forth in a revealing Q&A with MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough (Morning Joe). Judging by how rapt (and maybe non-partisan?) the audience was (which also included Richard Johnson of New York Post’s Page Six infamy, who was seen in the back furiously scribbling notes in his reporter’s pad), it’s no surprise Game Change is at the top of the best-seller list—and with an arrow to indicate its meteoric momentum.
