Condé Nast to Launch Newsstand-Only Specials

Six expanded, newsstand-only special editions of such Condé Nast mainstays as Glamour, GQ, Vogue, The New Yorker and Bon Appétit will be released by the company in the second half of 2010, beginning in August, reports The New Single Copy (June 28). Price points will range from $9.99 to $12.99.

The "bookazine" concept is similar to what People (Time Inc.) has released periodically for years. Subjects have included Oprah Winfrey.
