The Third-Quarter Boxscore Slump: Weeklies and BiweekliesFriday, September 23, 2011 Cumulative for the weeklies dipped from -1.04% through June to the present -2.23%, as the economic uncertainty took its toll. But Bloomberg Businessweek went up, from +15.81% to +22.70%, as its impressive momentum under publisher Hugh Wiley (ex-Fortune) continues. Not so elsewhere, because of the 38 weekly and biweekly magazines tracked in min, 26 are down in advertising through September..Below is the top 5 chart of the weeklies.
