Condé Nast’s DD&S team services the entire range of Condé Nast titles online, and their talent is demonstrated every day at the 17 sites they manage for the publisher. They have successfully launched the CN monthly magazine brands into the Internet eco-system where they are becoming important voices in the 24/7 conversation. Within the company itself, the team has helped improve the efficiencies of print-to-online production so all the brands can master, not just manage, the digital transition. Among their major achievements in 2008 are the redesigns at Glamour.com, Gourmet.com and Self.com, which now embrace their readers as communities and create new efficiencies for their editors. They helped develop very popular groups areas at Self.com, and at Gourmet.com they extended that brand’s quality and elegance into video. In the background, this is the team that manages Condé Nast’s many editorial assets—text, images and video—for reuse throughout the brands and across emerging platforms like iPhone and Facebook. In all, the team has helped Condé Nast titles increase their page views over 60% in 2008 and audience 77%. The DD&S team effectively put Condé Nast magazine into the digital game. .jpg)
