Parents.com – 100 Days of Holidays
Riffing off of the hit “100 Days of Holidays” series from sister site BHG.com, Parents.com re-engineered the concept for parents to target their need for fun and interesting new activities for their families. This email campaign was all about crafting eye-catching, thought-provoking new ideas. From “no-carve pumpkin” projects to cutest baby costumes, free Thanksgiving place cards to mom & me Christmas baking, the editors at Parents.com satisfied a demanding 100-day schedule of newsletters. The project proved to be exactly what parents were waiting for, and it made the holiday channel the top section of the site. With a newsletter list of 413,000 (+77% over last year) and 14 million page views generated (tripling the 2009 project), the 100 Days of Holidays demonstrated how an understanding of audience combines with great editorial to drive engagement.
