What is Engagement?Ah, love! Who can describe that rare connection between two people that binds their identities together so deeply, in so many ways, at every moment of every day? Who truly can define what it means for two worlds to be fully, inextricably, wondrously…engaged? Is this not a feeling that transcends language, let alone measurement? Nah!
Who Should Enter?All magazine media brands – including print, non-print and events – are eligible to apply. Any consumer or b2b media brand - one title, multiple titles, multiple web sites, etc. Eligibility Requirements:Any program or campaign that took place in 2009 is eligible, as well as programs ongoing in 2010. The program must have taken place in part of 2009, but could have been rolled out prior to that year. How to EnterYou can only enter online. So how should our competition entrants define “engagement”? Well, pretty much the way we would measure the quality of any good relationship. Quality Time: How much quality face time do you and your readers spend with one another? Communication: How are you and your readers interacting in meaningful ways? In what ways is your brand not only listening to readers but responding to their needs with real changes and feedback? Can readers really see themselves in your publication? Physical Relationship: What are the many touch points between you and your readers? Are you open to their needs across platforms and reaching out to them at different moments in their day? In short, are you always there for them? Are they there for you? Do your readers follow the brand into other media or real world interactions? Knowing One Another: How well do you know your readers? What everyday tools do you use to deepen your appreciation of their identity, needs and desires? Do you have a detailed and evolving profile of you audience? Growing in the Relationship: Are you evolving and expanding as a relationship partners? Has your magazine brand successfully expanded its reach across new audiences or demonstrably deepened its relationship with loyal users? So, tell us your Engagement Story Enter Online Here. All magazine media brands – including print, non-print and events – are eligible to apply. Who will be judging my entries? The min team and a select panel of judges from the advertising and consulting community will choose the Most Engaged Brands of the year. When and how will the winners be announced? Finalists will be notified in late March and honored April 29, 2010 during min's Email Marketing Conference luncheon Engagement Party at the Grand Hyatt, NYC.
